About this service
Description
Examples of animal mistreatment include leaving an animal alone for a long time, not giving an animal enough water or food, neglecting to take a dog outside, not treating an animal’s illnesses or keeping an animal in an unsuitable or hazardous place. The mere barking of a dog without suspicions of the animal having been left alone for too long (more than 12 hours at a time) is not against the Animal Welfare Act. If you are bothered by the barking of a dog, please contact your property manager. If you suspect animal abuse or want to report an aggressive or dangerous dog, please contact the police.
