Large companies must carry out an energy audit of energy use every four years.
Published by: Energy Authority · Government organisation
Description language: English
Coverage: All Finland
About this service
Description
A company’s energy audit is mandatory for all large companies regardless of the sector. A company’s energy audit must be carried out every four years.
A company’s energy audit concerns the entire company or group. The energy audit assesses the company’s energy consumption everywhere it uses energy, such as buildings, production plants and transports. The energy audit includes target audits to provide detailed information on the target’s energy consumption and appropriate energy efficiency measures.
The person responsible for a company’s energy audit can be a person whose qualification has been determined by the Energy Authority. The responsible person ensures that the company’s energy audit and the included target audits meet the requirements of the Energy Efficiency Act and the related decrees. The Energy Authority maintains a register of qualified persons responsible on its website.
How to use it
1 Take a look at the Energy Efficiency Act, the regulations issued under it, and guidelines on the websites of the Energy Authority and Motiva
2 Choose a person certified by the Energy Authority to be responsible for the company’s energy audit. The person responsible can be from the same organisation or a third-party consultant.
3 Carry out the company’s energy audit in accordance with the law and regulations.
Conditions
The energy audit is mandatory for large companies. A large company is defined as a company or group that has:
* over 250 employees
* a turnover of over €50 million and balance sheet of over €43 million.
The definition takes into account the total number of employees, turnover and balance sheets of the group or company registered in Finland and its companies in Finland and abroad. If a company is defined as a large company, all of its companies in Finland are subject to the obligation.
A large company does not need to carry out an energy audit if:
* it uses the certified energy management system ISO 50001
* it uses the certified environmental management system ISO 14 001 and the certified ETJ+ system
* the company is involved in the energy efficiency agreement system and it uses the ETJ+ system.

Exporting certain agriculture products to third countries requires an AGREX export certificate.
Published by: Finnish Food Authority · Government organisation
Description language: English
Coverage: All Finland
About this service
Description
Exporting certain agriculture products to third countries requires an AGREX export certificate. Such a product is rice. In some cases when exporting agricultural products to third countries, preferential treatment is applied which is often tied to a certain maximum amount, a tariff quota. Tariff quotas allow for reduced customs duties when exporting products from the region to specific third countries. Certain tariff quotas of agricultural products are managed by the Finnish Food Authority’s AGREX export quotas. Such export quotas are placed on exports of cheese to the USA and Canada, powdered milk to the Dominican Republic and dog and cat food to Switzerland.
You can find further instructions on the Finnish Food Authority website from Companies / Import and export / Export outside the EU / Export certificates / AGREX export licenses.
Conditions
For companies that export certain agricultural products from the EU to certain third countries. In some cases AGREX export certificates require setting a security collateral in euros before the AGREX export certificate can be granted. The tariff quotas often also have other conditions, such as proof of previous trade with third countries. A company applying for an AGREX certificate must be in the Finnish VAT Register, must register as a client of the Finnish Food Authority’s Market Department and apply for credentials for the application service for import and export certificates. The company must have an EORI number granted by Customs.

About this service
Description
ASP on asuntosäästöpalkkiolakiin perustuva järjestelmä, jonka avulla valtio tukee nuoria ensimmäisen omistusasunnon hankinnassa. Valtiokonttori neuvoo pankkeja ASP-säädösten soveltamisessa.
ASP-korkotukilainan etuja ovat:
• veroton korko ja lisäkorko säästöille
• alhaisempi korko kuin muiden vastaavien pankin myöntämien ensiasuntolainojen korko
• valtion korkotuki kymmenen vuoden ajaksi
• maksuton valtiontakaus.
How to use it

About this service
Description
Suomi on mukana ATP-sopimuksessa eli Helposti pilaantuvien elintarvikkeiden kansainvälisiä kuljetuksia ja tällaisissa kuljetuksissa käytettävää erityiskalustoa koskevassa sopimuksessa. Sopimus asettaa vaatimukset elintarvikekuljetusvälineiden eristyskyvylle, jäähdytykselle, lämpötilan rekisteröinnille sekä tuotteiden kuljetuslämpötiloille. ATP-kuljetuksia ovat käytännössä kaikki pakastettujen elintarvikkeiden kansainväliset maakuljetusvälineillä tehtävät kuljetukset. Myös suurin osa jäähdytettyjen elintarvikkeiden kuljetuksista kuuluu sopimuksen piiriin.
ATP-todistus on kuljetusvälineen rekisteröintimaan viranomaisen antama todistus siitä, että kuljetusväline on ATP-sopimuksen vaatimusten mukainen. Suomessa ATP-todistukset antava viranomainen on Luonnonvarakeskus.
Sopimusmaat tunnustavat toistensa antamat ATP-todistukset.

Conditions
Fee details
ATP-todistusten hinta vaihtelee eri maissa. Suomalaisen ATP-todistuksen hinta on nykyisin 120 € (alv 0 %) + lähetyskulut.
