About this service
Description
Helsinki has many ski trails. In winters with heavy snowfall, Helsinki offers skiers a network of up to 200 kilometres of ski trails, providing access from Central Park to nearly anywhere in the city. Some of the ski trails are artificially snowed and will be open for skiing earlier in the winter. For example, Paloheinä has a hiking lodge with showers and a cafe. Explore ski trails on the service map. You can also find more information about the city’s ski trails on the City of Helsinki’s sports and recreation website. Current information on the condition of ski trails is available at ulkoliikunta.fi.
