Perheside selvitetään DNA-tutkimuksella silloin kun perheenkokoajan ja oleskelulupaa hakevan perheenjäsenen biologisesta sukulaisuudesta tulee varmistua. (Ulkomaalaislaki 301/2004 65 §)
How to use it
DNA-tutkimusta varten tarvittava näyte on pääsääntöisesti posken sisäpinnan sivelynäyte. Tarvittaessa otetaan verinäyte. Sivelynäytteen ottaa asianosainen itse, Maahanmuuttoviraston tai ulkoasiainhallinnon virkamies taikka muu tarkoitukseen soveltuva henkilö. Verinäytteen ottaa terveydenhuollon ammattihenkilö. THL:n oikeusgenetiikkatiimi toimittaa Maahanmuuttovirastolle posken sisäpinnan sivelynäytteenottoa varten näytteenottovälineet ja -ohjeet.

Jos kuolleella henkilöllä ei ole perillisiä, eikä hän ole tehnyt testamenttia, hänen omaisuutensa menee perintönä valtiolle. Valtiolle meneviä kuolinpesiä hoitaa Valtiokonttori.
Jos perillisittä kuollut henkilö on tehnyt testamentin, omaisuus jaetaan testamentin mukaisesti. Tällöin testamentti on annettava tiedoksi Valtiokonttorille.
Valtiokonttori saa vuosittain tiedon noin 600:sta perillisittä kuolleesta henkilöstä, mikä on noin yksi prosentti kuolleiden määrästä. Ilman perillisiä kuolleista noin 60 prosenttia on tehnyt testamentin.
How to use it
1. Henkilöille joiden läheinen tai asiakas on kuollut, eikä ole tietoa keitä hänen perillisensä ovat eikä ole tietoa että hän olisi tehnyt testamentin.
Tee sukuselvitys. Sukuselvityksen voi hankkia itse keräämällä virkatodistuksia seurakunnista tai kirkkoon kuulumattoman osalta maistraatista. Sen voi myös antaa sukuselvityspalvelua tarjoavan tahon tehtäväksi.
Jos sukuselvityksessä ei löydy ketään seuraavista perillisistä, ilmoita kuolemantapauksesta Valtiokonttorille.
* Rintaperilliset,
* puoliso,
* vanhemmat,
* sisarukset ja näiden jälkeläiset,
* isovanhemmat,
* tädit, sedät ja enot tai
* toissijaiset perilliset (aiemmin kuolleen puolison isä, äiti, veli ja sisar sekä veljen tai sisaren lapset).
2. Henkilöille, joiden läheisen omaisuus on mennyt perintönä valtiolle.
Esimerkkejä tässä tarkoitetusta läheisyydestä:
* avopuoliso,
* seurustelukumppani tai
* kaukaisempi sukulainen, ystävä tai naapuri, jonka kanssa on ollut erityisen läheinen ja kiinteä suhde, esim. auttamissuhde.
Jos kriteerit täyttävä henkilö niin haluaa, hän voi hakea valtiolle perintönä mennyttä omaisuutta itselleen läheisyyden perusteella. Tavanomainen kaukaisempien sukulaisten tai ystävysten välinen suhde ei ole omaisuuden luovutusperuste. Hakemuslomake lähetetään Valtiokonttoriin.
3. Kunnille, joiden asukkaan omaisuus on mennyt perintönä valtiolle ja kunnille, joissa perillisittä kuolleen henkilön kiinteistö sijaitsee.
Valtiokonttori ilmoittaa kunnille mahdollisuudesta hakea valtiolle perintönä mennyttä omaisuutta. Valtiokonttori lähettää ilmoituksen ja hakemusohjeet sähköpostitse kunnan kirjaamoon sen jälkeen, kun perunkirjoitus on toimitettu.
4. Henkilöille joille perillisittä kuollut henkilö on määrännyt omaisuutta testamentilla.
Jos perillisittä kuollut on määrännyt omaisuudestaan testamentilla, testamentti on perunkirjoituksen jälkeen annettava tiedoksi Valtiokonttorille.

Luopumalla perinnöstä ja pyytämällä luopumisilmoituksen tallettamista ennen kuin ulosmittauspäätös on tehty, perinnöstä luopuja estää kuolinpesäosuutensa ulosmittauksen, koska hän ei saa perintöä.
Digi- ja väestötietovirastossa ei tarkasteta perinnöstä luopumisen sisältöä tai pätevyyttä. Luopumisilmoituksen tallettamisella on merkitystä vain silloin, jos perinnöstä luopujalla on ulosottovelkoja. The Energy Authority shall define the areas of competence for the trainer in which the trainer can provide additional and upgrading professional training leading to certification to installers of renewable energy systems. The competence areas are solar thermal systems, photovoltaic systems, biothermal systems and heat pump systems.
How to use it

Only a police officer may use a police uniform or clothing accessories. The use of any suit or clothing resembling deceitfully this kind of uniform or accessory is also not allowed in a way that give a false impression of the status of the user as a policeman.
It is possible to file with police chief of the relevant police department an application for a permission to use a police uniform in theatre performances and other similar occasions.
If the performance is held or filming is done in the areas of multiple police departments the application for a permission must be filed with the National Police Board.
How to use it
Police uniforms can be rented for filming from the supplier of the uniforms Image Wear Oy.
Uniforms are not delivered before the decision by the police department to grant a permit has become valid.
Conditions
Police uniforms and accessories may be used only in the filming's and performances of the concerned production in accordance with the conditions of the permission.
In a public place it must be taken care of that the audience does not get confused about the status of the user of the uniform.
The time of the performance or filming in a public place must be informed to the police department of the concerned location.
It is not allowed to use the uniform in scenes that conflict with normal police practices or are otherwise against the ethical principles of the police.

The fee is based on the decree on the chargeability of the performances and executive assistance of the police adopted by the Ministry of the Interior. The decree is renewed periodically.

You can use the pavement in front of your shop for presentation and sales operations without the city’s permission if all of the following terms are met:
• the space used is a maximum of 0.8 metres wide, i.e. it does not extend beyond 80 centimetres from the wall of the building,
• there is at least 1.5 metres of free space left for pedestrian traffic,
• the building owner has agreed to the use of the space, and
• there are no other obstacles to using the space.
If the terms above are not met, apply for the city’s permit for a sales space.
If the sales space extends more than 80 centimetres from the building wall, a rent of €2 per m2 per month will be charged for the entire area.

Description
If a privately-owned property lies within a protection zone or a visibility zone of a road, the landowner should be aware of the limitations and obligations concerning building on those areas.
Also, when there is a plan to repair a building situated on a protection zone or a visibility zone, an opinion must be requested from the local Economic Development Centre before the licensing authority processes the matter regarding a building permit or an action permit.
Building on the direct vicinity of a road is restricted mainly for road safety reasons and on the other hand because a road has negative effects on habitability. On application, Economic Development Centre can for a specific reason give the applicant permission to build on a road protection zone if the construction works or the use of the building, construction or equipment do not pose hazards to the traffic safety or cause nuisance to the road maintenance.
A protection zone of a road extends, as a rule,
* on regional roads and connecting roads to 20m
* on highways and main roads to 30m
* on motor ways and motor-traffic ways to 50 m
distance from the centre line of a driveway or, if there are multiple driveways, from the centre line of the closest driveway.
The visibility zone of a road is the area without visibility restrictions required in curve points, intersections and level crossings of the roads. The purpose of a visibility zone is to safeguard road safety by preserving a good visibility in curves and crossings.
All adjoining owners must be consulted in connection with a pending building project. Before applying for a permit, you must send a request for the neighbour's opinion to the local Economic Development Centre. Attach the statement you received to the permit application.
How to use it
Use the e-service primarily.
Signing into the service requires strong authentication. You will need either a bank ID, a mobile certificate or a certificate card.
If you cannot use the e-service, you can use printable forms. Irrespective of the location, submit the application form to the registry of the Economic Development Centre of Inner Finland (P.O. BOX 40, FI-00072 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CENTRE, FINLAND) When using this application method, a separate processing fee is charged in addition to the actual permit fee.
Fill in the application form carefully.
Before applying for a permit, you must also obtain the following attachments:
* a copy of the road maintenance authority’s (local Economic Development Centre’s) consultation of the owner of the neighbouring property
* a certificate of the permission to build (an urban area development land, a planning decision or other evidence)
* site layout showing the location of the buildings/constructions on the site and their distance from the centre line of the road
* map indicating the location of the site in relation to the road
If you supplement the application later, email the supplementary information to suoja-aluerakentaminen(at)elinvoimakeskus.fi. Enter the application’s service ID number, file number or the name, municipality and road number of the permit applicant in the subject field of the email.
An incomplete application or missing appendices will slow down the processing of the application.

Description
You need a permit if you plan to display animals in a permanent or travelling animal exhibition or use animals in a circus. The permit is granted by the Finnish Food Authority.
Animals may be displayed in zoos, permanent or travelling animal exhibitions, or circuses.
* Zoos mainly exhibit animals belonging to wild species.
* Permanent animal exhibitions may exhibit animal species permitted in petting farms and, to a limited extent, animal species kept as wild animals.
* Travelling animal exhibitions and circuses may only use a more limited range of animal species.
A permit may be granted only if the activity meets the requirements concerning animal welfare, animal keeping and the organisation of the activity.
How to use it
Apply for a permit well in advance before starting the activity.
Complete the permit application and submit it to the Registry of the Finnish Food Authority. Attach the information and reports required for assessing the activity.
The application must include:
* the animal species and numbers of animals involved
* the places where the animals are kept
* information on the qualifications of the persons responsible for animal care
* arrangements for animal care
* a description of the animals’ participation in circus performances, if the application concerns a circus
* a description of how the statutory duties of a zoo are carried out, if the application concerns a zoo.
The Finnish Food Authority processes the application and may request additional information if necessary. The Finnish Food Authority may inspect the activity before granting the permit and during the operation.
Keep an up-to-date record of the animals covered by the activity.
Conditions
The activity must comply with animal welfare legislation. The animal species used in activities requiring a permit, the conditions in which animals are kept and the organisation of the activity are assessed according to the type of activity.
Zoos must promote the conservation of wild fauna and biodiversity and participate in activities that support species conservation in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act.
Permanent and travelling animal exhibitions and circuses may only use animal species permitted for the type of activity in question. More detailed information on permitted animal species is available in the Finnish Food Authority’s guidance.
