Description
When the housing company has been registered in the Residential and Commercial Property Information System, the postal address of the apartment owner is generally updated automatically from the Population Information System. If the apartment is owned by a business, the postal adress is generally updated automatically from the Business Information System. The contact information is never updated automatically in the following situations: * the apartment is owned by someone who does not have a Finnish personal identity code * the apartment is owned by a business that does not have a Business-ID * the apartment is owned by the estate of a deceased person * the apartment is owned by a person who has been appointed a guardian or who has issued a valid continuing power of attorney * the apartment is owned by a person who is subject to an order of non-disclosure for personal safety reasons or a prohibition on the disclosure of contact details. If you are unsure whether your contact information is current in the Residential and Commercial Property Information System, you can check the information in the NLS e-service (in Finnish or Swedish).
