About this service
Description
The children's area of a library provides a comfortable environment for children to explore literature, play and learn. The children's area has a diverse collection of children's books, arranged according to theme in order to be easy to find. Reading material is available in several languages and for different age groups (around 0–12 years). Children's areas often have play zones and reading corners. Children's areas can be used to meet other families with children and spend some quiet time reading and playing. For more information on library events for children, please visit the libraries' website www.helmet.fi.
