Description
Professional competence training for lorry and bus drivers may be provided only by training centres approved for that purpose. Approval is granted by Traficom or the Ministry of Education and Culture. Companies, foundations and other organisations apply for approval from Traficom. Organisations operating under an education provision licence granted by the Ministry of Education and Culture apply for approval from the Ministry. Training centres may be approved to provide initial professional competence training and periodic training, or only periodic training. Training programmes used in professional competence training must be approved by Traficom.
