Kela’s disability benefits and services are: * disability allowance for persons under 16 years * disability allowance for persons aged 16 years or over * care allowance for pensioners * interpreter service for the disabled Kela offers support in various other situations as well. How to use it

The benefits provided by Kela are usually available on application only. You can also authorise another person to handle your matters for you. However, reimbursements of medical, pharmaceutical and travel expenses are available as direct on-the-spot reimbursements, with no application required. You can apply for most benefits online using Kela’s OmaKela e-service. In OmaKela, you can also submit documents supporting your application and report changes, as well as check the status of your application and the payment dates for your benefits. Valitse asiointivaltuus, jonka nimi on Sosiaaliturvan etuusasioiden hoitaminen. Jos itse haluat asioida toisen täysi-ikäisen henkilön puolesta, pyydä häntä antamaan siihen valtuus. Jos olet alaikäisen lapsen täysi-ikäinen huoltaja, voit useimmissa tilanteissa asioida lapsen puolesta ilman erillistä valtuutta. Kun asioit OmaKelassa toisen puolesta, siirry valikosta kohtaan Asioi toisen henkilön puolesta. Sinut ohjataan Suomi.fi-palveluun, jossa voit valita henkilön, jonka puolesta haluat asioida.

Conditions

Jotta voit asioida OmaKelassa toisen täysi-ikäisen henkilön puolesta, tarvitset valtuuden hänen Kela-asioidensa hoitamiseen. Valtuutus tehdään sähköisesti Suomi.fi-palvelun Valtuudet-sivulla. Kela-asioiden hoitamiseen tarvittavan valtuuden nimi on Sosiaaliturvan etuusasioiden hoitaminen. Molempien täytyy olla täysi-ikäisiä ja täysivaltaisia henkilöitä, joilla on voimassa oleva henkilötunnus. Jos sinut on merkitty väestötietojärjestelmään alaikäisen lapsen huoltajaksi, voit useimmissa tilanteissa asioida lapsesi puolesta OmaKelassa ilman erillistä valtuutta. Jos huoltajuudesta on olemassa huollonjakosopimus tai huollonjakomääräys, sen sisällöstä riippuu, voitko asioida lapsen puolesta OmaKelassa. Lapsen puolesta asiointi ei ole mahdollista, jos huollonjaosta on sopimus tai määräys, joka koskee muita asioita kuin asumisjärjestelyitä. OmaKelassa on kuitenkin mahdollista asioida alaikäisen puolesta myös Suomi.fi-palvelussa annetulla valtuudella. Tällöin asiointiin vaaditaan kaikkien huoltajien suostumus. Individual customers can book an appointment with a Kela specialist by phone and at service points. During their booked appointment, the customer gets one-on-one service tailored to their specific needs. Booked appointments are intended especially for customers who need one due to their circumstances or complex service needs. Kela can also book an interpreter for the customer to help them during their booked appointment. Kela’s employees and partner organisations can use Kela’s appointment booking system to book an appointment for a customer. Kela’s employees can book an appointment for the customer either with phone customer service or at a service point. Partner organisations can book an appointment for the customer with phone customer service if the organisation’s representative has the Suomi.fi mandate ‘Booking appointments for social security benefits’. They can also view and cancel appointments on behalf of the customer. Individual customers cannot use Kela’s appointment booking system to book appointments, but they can use it to view and cancel their booked appointments. Customers can also view and cancel booked appointments on behalf of another person if they have the Suomi.fi mandate ‘Manage social security benefits’ or a continuing power of attorney or if the customer serves as a legal representative or is the custodian or guardian of a child under the age of 18.

If you represent a partner organisation, read more on the kela.fi website at www.kela.fi/yhteistyokumppanit-asiakaspalvelu (in Finnish). The site contains information for example on how to add your organisation’s business ID (Y-tunnus) into the register for Kela’s appointment booking system.

How to use it

Toimita hintailmoitus Kelaan vähintään 21 päivää ennen kunkin vuosineljänneksen ensimmäistä päivää niistä lääkevalmisteista, jotka sisältyvät lääkkeiden hintalautakunnan julkaisemaan luetteloon Viitehintajärjestelmän ja lääkevaihdon ilmoitusmenettelyyn kuuluvat valmisteet. Hintailmoitukset voi tehdä Kelan ylläpitämässä lääkeyritysten asiointipalvelussa tai ne voi toimittaa tulostettavalla lomakkeella. Description

MyKanta is a nationwide online service for citizens and it is part of Kela’s comprehensive Kanta Services. In MyKanta, you can view your own prescriptions and health information, and you will also be able to see your social welfare data as it is gradually phased in. In the service you can: • view records related to your care and appointments • request a prescription renewal from health care services • check the results of laboratory tests and X-ray examinations • save a living will and organ donation testament • manage the privacy of your health care and social welfare data • browse your wellbeing data and save your measurement results

How to use it

You need to log in to MyKanta in order to see your data. Log in at www.kanta.fi. For identification, you will need online banking codes, a mobile ID, or an identity card with a chip that enables online authentication.

Conditions

In MyKanta, you can view your public and private social and health care data in one place, whenever and wherever. In MyKanta, you can also act on behalf of another person, such as your child or loved one.
