The young person can use the summer job voucher for work during the summer season. The summer job voucher is granted for an agreed job position and cannot be reserved in advance.

How to use it

### Instructions for young people 1. Apply for a summer job that interests you at a company, association, organisation, parish, or foundation. Once you have found a summer job, check with the employer if they want to use the summer job voucher. 3. Fill out the electronic preliminary information form with the employer. 4. You will receive information about the granting of the summer job voucher by email once the preliminary information form has been reviewed. ### Instructions for employers 1. Recruit a suitable employee according to your own practices. 2. Ensure that the young person is from Turku and meets the other conditions of the summer job voucher. 3. Fill out the electronic preliminary information form together with the young person. 4. Make a written employment contract with the young person no later than when the employment begins. The employment contract must include at least the start and end dates of the work, the salary, working hours, and job duties/title. Please note that the preliminary information form is not an employment contract. 5. Remember to apply for the summer job voucher compensation by the specified deadline in the electronic Service Voucher and Purchase Service System (PSOP). If you would like more information or have any questions regarding the summer job voucher, or if the planned summer job does not take place, please send a message to tukisetelit.tyollisyysalue@turku.fi. The Building Control Authority supervises the built environment's state, tidiness, and care according to the general directives in the Building Act.

Published by: City of Turku · Municipality

Description language: English

Coverage: Selected municipalities, regions or wellbeing services counties

About this service

Description

Matters that belong to the Continuous Supervision include for example: * unlawful building * unlawful changing of purpose of use * dilapidated buildings * neglected building environments * unlawful tree-cutting * unlawful landscaping (land filling and digging) An Action Request can be made to the Building Supervision Authority concerning all matters within the Continuous Supervision. The following matters are examples that do not belong to the Continuous Supervision: littering (reporting done to Environmental Protection), and noise complaints and other disturbing behaviour (reporting done to the Police Authority).

How to use it

### The Action Request's handling process When an action request is submitted to the authorities, it is entered into the register and therefore generally becomes a public document. A decision is made once both parties have been heard in the matter and any other necessary investigations have been obtained. The decision is communicated to both parties. The parties in a dispute have the right to request rectification of a decision made by the authority from the Building and Permit Committee. Decisions by the Building and Permit Committee may be appealed to the Turku Administrative Court. ### Penalty Fine If the issued order is not complied with within the prescribed time limit, a penalty fine as permitted under the Land Use and Building Act may be imposed as an enforcement measure. The decision to impose a penalty fine is made by the Building Committee, and before the decision is made, the party concerned is given the opportunity to submit their views on the matter in writing.

Conditions

### Filing an Action Request The Action Request has to be made in writing and it has to be signed and dated. In the Action Request it has to be mentioned what/which matter(s) violate(s) the request filer's interest or rights, or in other ways are not fulfilling the Land Use or Building Acts. More information can be inquired from the specific district's inspection engineer through Building Supervision. The Action Request is done using the specific form meant for this purpose.

Fee details

A fee is charged according to the Building Control's Charges for made decisions.
