Etelä-Hämeen työllisyysalue ohjaa tarvittaessa asiakkaan työttömien terveystarkastukseen. Vastaanottoajan pituus on 1 tunti. Tarkastuksen yhteydessä tehdään mittauksia, kuten painoindeksi ja verenpaine. Tärkeä osa tarkastusta on vastaanotolla käytävä keskustelu, jossa käydään läpi henkilön terveyteen, toimintakykyyn, elintapoihin ja mahdollisiin oireisiin liittyviä asioita.
