About this service
Description
Private early childhood education and care is a safe option, as the regional authorities supervise and guide the operations. You can apply for day care centres, group family day care centres and family day care operating with private day care allowance by contacting the care unit directly. The guardians and the service provider will sign a care agreement which establishes the practices related to the child’s early childhood education and care. The service provider will determine the client fee.
The families can also use a service voucher when selecting their early childhood education and care unit. A service voucher is an income-based voucher that the municipality can grant to the family. The service voucher is worth a maximum of €875 per month for the full-time care of 3–6-year-old children. For children under the age of three and children in part-time care, the service voucher value will be determined based on separate factors.
