Description

During the oral and dental examination, the expert assesses the adequacy and quality of self-care in addition to oral health. An treatment plan is made during the check-up, which defines the need for and implementation of treatment and the individual check-up interval. The treatment plan is based on the need for treatment and commits the patient to taking care of their own oral health. Early access to treatment at the onset of symptoms, as well as preventive and early-stage treatment, help prevent and stop oral disease as a result of self-care and specialist care. Correcting a situation at an early stage is often easier and less expensive.

You come to nutritional therapy with a doctor's referral or a nurse/special worker's assessment of care needs. Nutritional therapy services include: - Prevention of various diseases, such as heart disease (e.g. weight management guidance) - To guide the preparation of various special diets (e.g. kidney diet) - Evaluation of nutritional status and preparation of the meal plan required to correct any nutritional status (e.g. cancer patients) - Treatment of eating disorders and other eating problems related to mental illnesses - Nutrition guidance for surgical patients (e.g. various operations within the alimentary canal) - Assessment and treatment of nutritional status in emergency and ward patients, such as planning of enteral and parenteral nutrition and staff guidance The job description for a dietitian also includes training the staff in care and nutrition services.

How to use it

You come to a nutritional therapist at a health care center based on an assessment by a doctor or expert in health care. You come to the nutrition therapist's reception at Central Hospital with a doctor's referral or it may be part of your treatment at the hospital.

Fee details

Reception visits with the nutritional therapist cost €19.90/time. Visits are free of charge for under 18-year-olds. For late cancellations or no-show appointments, we withhold the right to charge a fee according to our current pricing policy.

Description

The physiotherapist examines you, give you advice how to cope with the pain and advises you how to perform individual exercises. The physiotherapist can – if needed – write a certificate for sick leave.

How to use it

Call the Care Needs Assessment and a nurse will interview you and evaluate your problem and make an appointment to the physiotherapist. You can book a video appoinment from Kansalaisen terveyspalvelu. You need a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera, microphone and internet connection.

Description

The treatment at Pixnekliniken is addressed to adults, 18 years and older with substance abuse and addiction. The treatmentprogram is based on a bio-psycho-social perspective with the Twelve Steps philosophy as the basis of the rehabilitation program. The program is in Swedish and implemented in the form of psycho-educational lessons, lectures, group discussions, individual conversations as well as through own tasks and reports. Care is tailored according to individual needs and agreements. The clinic, Pixnekliniken, is manned 24/7 with social- and health educated staff. At Pixnekliniken our care philosophy is that addiction problems and diseases are treatable and that everyone has the right to good care as often as needed.

How to use it

Adults, 18 years or older with a desicon by an adult social worker and an ability to take part of the structured rehabilitation program in Swedish.
