About this service
Description
The service assesses the immigrant's skills, employment, study and other integration capabilities, as well as the needs for education and other services from the municipality or service provider that promote integration, as well as the needs for participation in the activities of an organization, association or community. During the assessment, the immigrant's goals and wishes, previous education, work history, language skills, work and functional ability that affect the conditions for employment and integration, and other factors that significantly affect employment and integration are assessed. In order to assess service needs, the immigrant can be referred to the necessary expert assessments and studies. If necessary, the assessment of service needs is carried out in multidisciplinary cooperation.

Contact the municipality's director of Economic Development or employment services.
Conditions
The service is intended for immigrants who have not more than three years since the issuance of their first residence permit or residence card or registration of their right to reside and who meet other legal requirements.
