About this service
Description
Urban farming refers to growing edible plants, vegetables, herbs and flowers in an urban environment, for example on allotments, in the yards of residential buildings, on balconies or on windowsills.
The City of Espoo’s allotments offer Espoo residents the opportunity to practice urban farming in different parts of the city. The city rents out allotments for the cultivation of useful plants and is responsible for their rental and supervision and for providing guidelines related to cultivation.
