About this service
Description
A notification of burning of forest land must be made to the rescue authorities before starting the burning. Burning of forest land involves the burning of farmland, logging areas, or forest land. Large-scale burning of stumps, debris, and leaves is also considered burning of forest land. The burning of forest land may only take place under the supervision of a professional. A notification must also be made to the rescue authorities when using fire that generates a significant amount of smoke. No notification is required for a campfire. Small bonfires also do not require notification. All open fires are prohibited during a forest fire warning and in hazardous wind conditions.
How to use it
Fill in the fire use notification and send it to the rescue service. You can complete and submit the form on the rescue service's website. The information will be sent to and processed by the regional rescue department of the municipality selected in the notification. You can also print the form and mail it to the rescue department in your area.
