Описание

The export of certain goods is restricted, and they may not be exported abroad without an export licence. If your goods require an export licence, you can apply for the licence from the responsible authority. Present the export licence and the export declaration to Customs. Customs adds the markings required under the licence conditions, for example, the quantity of exported goods. Some export licences are presented to Customs online and some as paper documents.

You can place goods under the customs warehousing procedure by submitting a customs warehousing notification to Customs.

Описание

You must make a customs declaration to Customs for goods stored in a customs warehouse. Goods from outside the European Union, for which an import duty or other similar payment has not been paid, may be stored with the customs warehousing procedure. In special circumstances, Union goods can also be placed under the customs warehousing procedure (for example, Åland). To keep a customs warehouse, you need a permit issued by Customs. However, you do not require a permit to submit a customs warehousing declaration. If goods are placed in a public customs warehouse, anyone can submit the customs declaration. When using a private customs warehouse to store goods, the customs declaration must be submitted by the holder of the customs warehouse permit or their representative. You can submit a customs declaration for customs warehousing online via the Customs e-service. The service is free of charge and available 24/7. Another way to submit a notification is to use the Message exchange service between businesses and Customs. You should choose message exchange as the declaration method if your company has a large number of declarations that contain several goods items. You can also purchase customs declaration as a service from a forwarding agency. Please contact your service provider for instructions and further information.

Как пользоваться

Make a customs clearance through the Customs e-service in the Customs Clearance Service online service. Log in to the service using a Suomi.fi identifier. You can find more detailed instructions in the service. You will receive the decision on release from the service. If the goods are in temporary storage when you submit a customs declaration for customs warehousing, send the release decision also to the keeper of the temporary warehouse, if necessary, so that the goods can be released from the warehouse. If you declared the goods to be stored in a public customs warehouse, send the release decision also to the warehousekeeper if necessary. There is no time limit for the storage of goods under the customs warehousing procedure.
