Описание
The services offered by the Degree Programme in Assistive Technology at Metropolia’s HyMy Village focus on the design and manufacture of custom-made assistive devices. The service is intended for anyone who benefits from assistive devices that support daily life or hobbies, but whose needs are not covered by medical rehabilitation. The services include custom-made orthotic insoles and recreational assistive devices, which are designed and manufactured according to the client’s individual measurements and needs. Custom orthotic insoles support the alignment of the lower limbs, guide their function, increase comfort, and help prevent overuse injuries. Recreational assistive devices, on the other hand, enable physical activity, sports, or other leisure activities in situations where standard equipment does not meet the client’s requirements.
