Описание
The Child Health Clinic focuses on the health and well-being of under school age children and their families. We aim to reduce health inequalities between families. We monitor children's physical, psychological and social growth and development, and support parents in safe, child-centred parenting, good childcare and relationship management.
We aim to identify the specific support needs of families with children as early as possible and provide appropriate support and assistance. Children can also receive the vaccinations included in the vaccination programme at the clinic. Health clinic services are available mainly by appointment.
### Child health clinic appointments
The clinic covers children’s periodic health checks in accordance with the national action plan. Additional appointments are organised according to individual needs.
1 month: health check by a nurse
6 weeks: medical check
2 month: health check by a nurse
3 month: health check by a nurse
4 months: comprehensive health check (nurse and doctor)
5 month: health check by a nurse
6 months: group clinic appointment (including a nurse and a service coordinator for children and toddlers)
8 months: nurse’s and medical checkup
10 months: health check by nurse (if required)
1 yr: health check by nurse
1.5 yrs: comprehensive health check (nurse and doctor)
2 yr: health check by nurse
3 yr: health check by nurse
4 yrs: comprehensive health check (nurse and doctor)
5 yr: health check by nurse
6 yr: health check by nurse
When a child begins first grade in primary school, they will be incorporated into the school healthcare system.
