Beskrivning
We assess your need for services that support integration. We evaluate your previous skills and your opportunities for employment and education in Finland. We also explore your wishes and goals, as well as your need for services related to integration and job seeking. We ask about your previous education, work history, language skills, health and work ability, and your family situation. In addition, your language proficiency, reading and writing skills may be assessed, and you may be referred to other evaluations if needed. The assessment may be carried out in multidisciplinary cooperation with the wellbeing services county of Lapland and other relevant actors. A social worker may participate in the assessment if your life situation, work ability, or functional capacity requires it. ### Duration and Implementation The assessment is conducted in person in Rovaniemi. The initial assessment takes approximately 4–7 hours.

### Where and How to Participate Jobseekers aged 18–64 will receive an invitation to the initial assessment from Employment Services. The assessment is carried out at the premises of Lappia Koulutus Oy. Address: Hallituskatu 26, Rovaniemi. To participate in the assessment of your skills and integration service needs, register as a jobseeker: In person: Fill in the registration form at Employment Services, * Address: Valtakatu 16, 96200 Rovaniemi * Online: https://tyomarkkinatori.fi/ * Attach a copy of your passport and residence permit to your registration form. ### Who Is the Service For? This service is for immigrants whose first residence permit, residence card, or registered right of residence was issued no more than three (3) years ago. ### Other Important Information * Bring your identification documents (e.g. passport or other ID) and your residence permit card to the initial assessment. * If you are unable to attend the assessment, please inform us in advance. * Interpretation can be arranged if needed. * The service is free of charge.
