### Multilingual civic orientation is a course where you can get accurate knowledge about Finnish society. The course is in your own language or in a language that you speak well /have proficiency. The course helps you understand everyday matters in Finland. ### Main themesof the course are: * Laws and rights in Finland * Housing and living * Work and study * Functioning of Finnish society, rights and responsibilities/obligations * Health and well-being * Finnish history and culture The course is organized in group-based format and its facilitator is multilingual professional. Teaching groups are formed based on the number of participants and not all languages are available all the time. Ask your counselor about the language groups you can participate in. ### The course consists of 70 lessons. It can be organized in-person, remotely, or as a combination of both. You can discuss or ask questions in the course. Many have also made new friends during the courses.
